Hi! My name is Bert, and I’m a professional photographer based in New York City. I specialize in portraits, but also have experience working in fashion, engagements, small business and brand photography. I’m a strong believer that the best photos come out when the person being photographed is having fun! So when you come shoot with me, get ready to laugh, let loose, and most importantly have a good time!
I have a background in Medicine, and started to use photography and videography as a creative outlet back in 2014. Fast forward to 2020, photography/videography has gone from creative outlet to full scale business! Along the way, I’ve realized that my favorite thing to do is to photograph people and to make them feel confident, which is why I’m still a portrait photographer today.
I know taking photos of yourself can feel intimidating. My favorite part about taking portraits is watching people who have never been in front of a camera grow more and more comfortable and excited during a shoot. It’s always a good feeling to know you helped someone become more confident with their authentic selves through photography.
Near NOHO, just between Washington Square Park and Union Square. There is so much variety and different backdrops to choose from!
